Description of problem: 802.3ad support for dpdk bond (NIC bonding with OVS-DPDK) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
This looks like an RFC, but it's filed against the wrong component (it sounds like a neutron option) and has no significant detail attached. Please re-open if you can provide this information.
Re-opening as this and setting component to OpenStack Networking. Maybe it needs to be assigned to OVS team, but please consult with Franck Baudin (OSP NFV PM) first. This is to support LACP (802.3ad) bonding with OVS-DPDK when used with OSP. Currently only active/standby is supported (I believe). If there is more informaton needed, then please put a needinfo to the reporter rather than just closing out.
Glad to see the last update. Can I assume the code changes are completed, and the feature is under QA testing? Roughly, when can we expect the release of the functional feature? Thanks Jing
Hi Yariv, Wondering if LACP with OVS bonds is verified on RHOSP13. A customer is asking. Thanks! James
Most of the LACP bonding usecases are complete and have test coverage but there are few areas being looked at the engineering side EPIC for NFV Bonding with LACP https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pzqMXoehXuwlj_ZHTjY5C_KcOWrb6RJfPCjgEqRep-Q/edit#heading=h.y9d0l3g55mud Hi Rashid please provide update on status and timeline for support of LACP Bonding with OVS-DPDK with RHOSP 13
