Description Michael Burke 2017-07-07 21:51:02 UTC
Per Michail Kargakis

We should stop calling RCs as deployments because of naming collision with upstream Deployments.

Can you follow up with replacing the instance of "deployment" in our docs with "rollout" or "replication controller"? "rollout" when referring to the process of deploying, "replication controller" when talking about a version of the deployment config.

Michail's comments are in a PR unrelated to this issue (https://github.com/openshift/openshift-docs/pull/4641#discussion_r126191664)

Kubernetes deployments objects are described here:
https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/3.5/dev_guide/deployments/kubernetes_deployments.html
