Hello , Sandro I'd like that you also takeover this package , updates of libimagequant [1] and pngquant should go together ... , what do you think ? if you accept it, please ask for commits and or commit permissions in [2] Thanks, [1] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1468886 [2] https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/rpms/pngquant/
Sure fine for me, ACLs requested. So just for curiosity, is there an actual hard API dependency between pngquant and libimagequant which requires them to have the same version? In which case pngquant should have a hard-versioned dependency on libimagequant?

I think pngquant and libimagequant, now, do not require same version , the problem is libimagequant haven't soname and neither an API version , so when api change pngquant can change and usually is done in same version , conclusion we should use same versions, to ensure that work as expect. Thanks
Ok - so for safety perhaps better adding a hard requires on the version?
Ah, which it already has I see, ok never mind :)
yes , thanks :)

@Björn Esser If you want to take care of the package I have no objections, but could you state that beforehand to avoid duplicating each others work?
