Hi, for LemonLDAP::NG I need a more recent version of perl-Plack. We currently have perl-Plack-1.0030-3.el7.noarch, and I would need at least 1.0033. Thanks a lot for your help.
I do not use nor support EPEL. May-be Emmanuel wants to look into this.
I'll look into this once I close bug #1436076
perl-Plack 1.0033 requires perl-HTTP-Tiny 0.034 but we have 0.033 in base (and because it's in base, it can't be updated). Unless someone comes up with a great idea, this is a WONTFIX for me.
Is there no possibility to ask for an update of perl-HTTP-Tiny in base? This restriction could lead to bugs with LL::NG 2.0 on CentOS/RHEL.
Okay... Investigating this bug, I found out two things: a) perl-Plack has no owner on the EPEL7 branch. I've reached out to the repo owners and asked for ownership. b) The dependency on HTTP::Tiny 0.034 was introduced in Plack 1.0029 and the package currently in EPEL7 should require it. https://github.com/plack/Plack/commit/bb5f9cab31d6262b98edd5f10660163fc36020ee Given this, I don't have much less of an issue releasing an update to 1.0033 in EPEL7.
