Hi Matthew,

thank you for contacting us with your issue. Would you mind telling me exactly when this abort message happened and what were you doing? Are you able to reproduce it again?

Comment 15 Matthew Saltzman 2017-07-15 02:38:05 UTC
Just submitted a reproduction. The original crash was detecting an OfficeJet printer/scanner/fax. I think the first time, I had to go through a dialog about getting extra assistance detecting an "older" device. I deleted the device and went through the detectio dialog again. This time, the device was detected automatically, but the crash still occurred.

I did a research and I found out it is known bug in Qt5, which should be solved in Qt-5.9.0 alpha. Closing this issue as duplicate #1412048, and after that duplicate of #1364717.
