upgrade to version 26 fails
Last modified: 2017-07-25 12:55:18 EDT
Attempts to upgrade to Fedora 26 fails with the following error:
# dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=26
Fedora 26 - x86_64 6.0 MB/s | 53 MB 00:08
Fedora 26 - x86_64 - Updates 3.6 MB/s | 4.0 MB 00:01

Error: package python-dnf-plugins-extras-migrate-0.0.12-4.fc25.noarch requires python-dnf-plugins-extras-common = 0.0.12-4.fc25, but none of the providers can be installed
(try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages)
Server is updated to the latest:
# dnf upgrade --refresh
Nothing to do.
If you don't need python-dnf-plugins-extras-migrate, just erase it first (dnf remove python-dnf-plugins-extras-migrate), and then try again.
That helped, thank you. Although I never installed this package manually.
I created a patch that should solve the problem (https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf-plugins-core/pull/227).
