XFree86-Mach64 gives a strange display artifact on a Dell Inspiron 3800
laptop. About one inch from the right edge of the screen there is a sort of
a dancing line, and there also seems to be a dancing line about half an
inch of the right edge of each window. There also seems to be 'random
jitter' showing up in the top right of each window. These artifacts get
denser the more you move the window to the right. On the left half of the
screen, there is - oddly enough - no such jitter at all.

Cute detail is that the same laptop gives nada display problems under NT in
the same resolution (1024x768) in any color depth. The artifact also
disappears in linux when the X server is set to 16 bit mode.

I can't reproduce this with the latest release with either of the two
Mach64 based cards I tried. Have you updated to the latest errata or
our current release?

If you are using the latest errata, please attach your config and
X server logs to the bug report using the link below.
