Description of problem:
Unable to load sound card driver
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora Core 2.6.10-1.741_FC3
Fedora Core 2.6.10-1.760_FC3
I installed Fedora Core3 2.6.9-1.667 on my Toshiba A45-S150 laptop
which already had windows XP sp2 installed.
After installing Fedora Core3 2.6.9-1.667, My sound card was working
fine and I was able to listen music.
Now I updated my kernel to 2.6.10-1.741_FC3, now my sound driver is
not loaded and I am not able to listen music.
Although when I go to
Application->System Settings->Sound Card Detection
A window pops up saying the following:
The following audio device was detected.
Model: Corp. 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller
Now I updated my kernel to 2.6.10-1.760_FC3, still the problem persists.
