File /var/lib/mock/fedora-26-x86_64/result/root.log

mock was working on Fedora 25, but fails on Fedora 26, so no packages can be rebuild on Fedora 26..

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mock-1.4.2-1.fc26.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a user to group mock. Then log in with user which is in group mock.
2. mock --scrub=all
3. mock --init

Actual results:
Error message "failed calculating RPMDB checksum"

Expected results:
chroot is created, no error.

Output of "mock --trace --init"

There are some python exceptions when "mock --trace --init" was run - see attached file.

I can reproduce this issue here on my Fedora 26 boxes. Any hints on how to work around this?

Comment 3 Dominic Hopf 2017-08-01 11:38:13 UTC
Looking at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1299482 setting --noplugins in /etc/mock/site-default.cfg seems to work so far.
