Description of problem:
If new equipment is encountered that requires the entry of parameters,
such as a wireless lan card there is not time to enter the necessary
values before the system continues. It works correctly if you are a
fast enough typer.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install a card that requires several parameters
2.Try to get them all in before the time out.
3.

Actual Results: Half of the time I couldn't type fast enough.

Expected Results: Delay for parameter entry needs to be longer.

Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 2005-02-08 03:42:19 UTC
The timeout is unrelated to any networking config screen; the timeout
only lasts until the first key is hit.

In any case, the timeout for configuration is no longer in the current
development tree.
