Please attach your X server config file, log file, and
/var/log/messages files as individual uncompressed file attachments
using the bugzilla file attachment link below.

Once you've attached the files, we can review them to try and
determine if this is a new issue, or if it is a duplicate of
similar issues that have been reported.

There have been some similar bugs fixed in the xorg-x11-6.8.2
release, which will be part of the RHEL4 U1 update. We will
be making some test packages available soon which you can try
in order to see if the new release resolves this issue.

I will add a new comment and URL to the rpms when they're ready
for testing.

Thanks for your report.

We've fixed a problem similar to this in RHEL4U1. This issue
is probably a duplicate of the fixed issue. Please test xorg-x11
6.8.2 to determine if it resolves the issue. You can obtain
test rpms from the following URL:

    http://people.redhat.com/mharris/testing/4E

Please download these rpms as soon as you can, as they may be
removed in a few days.

Setting status to "MODIFIED". If the problem persists, change
status back to "ASSIGNED" and provide additional details, etc.
