Please include a python36 variant when this comes to EPEL 7.

If there is anything I can do to help move this along (eg co-maintain EPEL), please ping me.

I'd be happy to do the work to make this happen, but there isn't currently an epel7 branch for this package.

José or another maintainer, please create a branch so that I can help move this along.

Thanks!

Gentle ping...

Hi Scott,
  the reason why I did not reply before (other than being busy :-) ) is that I am not sure if that is the right way to proceed since pyparsing is already available in EL7.

When I ask for a branch I get:

$ fedpkg request-branch el7
Could not execute request_branch: This package is already an EL package and is built on all supported arches, therefore, it cannot be in EPEL. If this is a mistake or you have an exception, please contact the Release Engineering team.

So I suspect that the right way to do it is to get a review of a new package: python3-pyparsing and then only request the branch for EL7 and not for Fedora.

If you submit such package I am willing to review it.
