Description of problem:
There is no mention of updating ceph-ansible packages prior to proceeding with rolling upgrade in Sectin 5.2. (Upgrading Between Minor Versions and Applying Asynchronous Updates):

We should add a step for the Ceph Ansible node to ensure that it has the latest version of ceph-ansible installed:

  #yum update ceph-ansible

How about just "yum update" ? picking and choosing packages to update can lead to unintended side effects

Hi Erin,

As Upgrade from most recent version of 2.x to 3.0 by rolling upgrade is supported, can you please add a section for rolling update ?

Moving back to ASSIGNED state, please let me know if there are any concerns.

I verified that, information regarding updating ceph-ansible packages prior to proceeding with rolling upgrade has been mentioned both in RHEL and ubuntu guide.

Moving to VERIFIED state, will verify content regarding issue mentioned in Comment 4 as part of BZ 1477272 . Please let m eknow if there are any issues.
