Description of problem: Looking for the person who maintains the scripts that update the Centos packages for Gluster. The scripts appear to be broken. The gluster.org page https://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/LATEST/CentOS/ says look at https://buildlogs.centos.org/centos/7/storage/x86_64/gluster-3.11/ for the 3.11 packages, and the latest packages are there, but "buildlogs.centos.org" does not appear to be feeding the packages to Centos mirrors. The main Centos mirror site http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/storage/x86_64/ doesn't have Gluster 3.11 at all. The latest version there is 3.10.3, and no updates have appeared since June 30. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Gluster 3.10.4 (July 6 release) and Gluster 3.11.2 (July 22 release). How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the main Centos mirror site http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/storage/x86_64/ 2. Look for Gluster 3.10.4 (July 6 release) and 3.11.2 (July 22 release). 3. Packages are not on the mirror site. Actual results: Packages are not on the mirror site. Expected results: Packages to appear on the mirror site. Additional info: Packages are on https://buildlogs.centos.org/centos/7/storage/, but do not get copied to http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/storage/
The GlusterFS 3.11 packages have been available on the buildlogs.centos.org server for testing. Unfortunately nobody reported any test results, even though several users and developers were planning to provide feedback. Only packages that have had some testing (can be extremely minimal) will be marked for syncing to the release repository on the mirrors. With glusterfs-3.12 being close to release, there is little need to have glusterfs-3.11 made available through the CentOS mirrors. 3.12 is together with 3.10 a Long-Term-Maintenance release, whereas 3.11 is a Short-Term-Maintenance release that goes End-Of-Life when 3.12 is available. A call for testers of 3.12 Release Candidate 0 will be sent in a follow-up on http://lists.gluster.org/pipermail/packaging/2017-August/000347.html once the packages are sync'd to the buildlogs.centos.org server.
