Moving assignee to Kim for review.

Kim, Don had progressed this work to the tech review stage (see the Google doc) in comment 2); I would suggest following up with the SMEs who commented on that document to determine what still needs to be done here.

Thank you, Lucy. I will read through the doc and follow up with the SME.

Kim

Found 2 issues with regards to the edits. Add comments in gitlab.

Also, I had a quick read through, and I think we might be missing some further documentation. In this section, we create a flavor and profile for nodes called "osdcompute":

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/12/html/hyper-converged_infrastructure_guide/choose-type#choose-type-mixed-flavor

However, I can't see anywhere how to link the "osdcompute" flavor/profile to the ComputeHCI role, which you do with the following in an environment file:

parameter_defaults:
  OvercloudComputeHCIFlavor: osdcompute
ComputeHCICount: 3 # Also useful to mention how to set the number of HCI nodes to deploy.

Without the "OvercloudComputeHCIFlavor" param, the ComputeHCI role uses the baremetal flavor/profile.

Kim, did you want me to create a separate BZ for this issue?

I'll address those issues in gitlab today.

Yes, please. That would be great.
