Verified this bug on # rpm -qa | grep ganesha nfs-ganesha-gluster-2.4.4-16.el7rhgs.x86_64 glusterfs-ganesha-3.8.4-41.el7rhgs.x86_64 nfs-ganesha-2.4.4-16.el7rhgs.x86_64 There is some memory improvement seen as compared to earlier builds and as mentioned by Niels in comment #8,more memory improvement can be seen with heavy load of IO's on busy ganesha setup,Moving this bug to verified state. Test results are updated in comment#6.
