IMPORTANT
You must execute metadata operations, such as user creation, on a host within the master zone. The master zone and the secondary zone can receive bucket operations, but the secondary zone redirects bucket operations to the master zone. If the master zone is down, bucket operations will fail.

We need to improve and add more details about metadata operations on the secondary site.

Thanks John,

I see the new IMPORTANT block in the RADOS Gateway User Management section, and that looks great. I also like the '[root@master-zone]#' convention for related commands. But it's hard to tell if there are other changes to review - if there are more, can you produce a diff? (and if not, you have my ack)

There were a few places before I introduced the convention where I put those blocks. So I think we have what we need.
