Description Pavel Moravec 2017-08-22 11:45:37 EDT
Description of problem:
I would like to rebase sos package in RHEL7.5 to upstream 3.5 version planned to be released in October this year. Reasons:

- Multiple improvements esp. to Openstack plugins were / are implemented in sos upstream that would be beneficial for CEE to get in RHEL7.5. Backporting them one after another would create ridiculous devel and QE work (bits implemented and verified in upstream)

- there will be smaller "testing distance" between upstream and RHEL

- rebasing will simplify downstream work, esp. later on when working on z-stream patches

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sos-3.4-*

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -q sos

Actual results:
sos-3.4-*

Expected results:
sos-3.5-*
