gnome on xorg login - journalctl output

Description of problem:

After login to a Gnome on Xorg session, I get a normal looking desktop but mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. X hasn't completely locked as I can see graphic elements moving on the screen (e.g. system stray icons appearing). I then have to hit reset button to reboot and get back to login screen.

Mouse & keyboard work fine with Gnome on Wayland.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gdm-3.24.2-1.fc26.x86_64
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.19.3-4.fc26.x86_64
kernel 4.12.9-300.fc26.x86_64

How reproducible:

always

Additional info:

I've attached output from 'journalctl -b -1'
