Description Moti Asayag 2017-09-18 10:16:28 UTC
Description of problem:
When adding a new template to the system, it is possible to specify the destination storage domain in two levels:

1. Globally, at request level
2. Per each disk attachment

In order for the global destination storage to take effect, the request must list the desired disk attachments to be created on that storage domain.

Specifying the storage per disk attachment will override the global storage definition.

If the user specified only the storage globally, without listing the disk attachments, that parameter will be ignored.

There is no documentation for that logic.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
master

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Post request for creating a template

Comment 1 Eyal Shenitzky 2017-10-19 07:45:30 UTC
Small fix,
Specifying the global storage definition will override storage per disk attachment specification.

Eyal, there are two patches here, and both are merged. Are we waiting for anything else? If not, shouldn't this be on MODIFIED?
