Are there any snapshots in use in this pool? If so it's possible this is http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/19131 . Otherwise we'll need osd logs with debugging from before an object gets stuck to determine what is holding the rwlock at the time.

Josh, I think if we see the object ID it looks like it is RGW workload so chances are we do not have snapshots from RBD side because then this pool is used for RGW. 

We may want to verify if they are not taking pool level snapshots will check both if this pool is not shared with RBD or taking pool snapshot.
