oVirt gerrit 82685 0 ovirt-4.2 MERGED hosted-engine: don't allow local maintenance with only one host 2017-10-11 12:59:10 UTC

Description Yihui Zhao 2017-09-21 03:29:44 UTC
Description of problem:
After deploying the HostedEngine with one host, then don't permit to put itself into local maintenance, but the cockpit don't give a hint. So suggest to give a hint when putting itself into local maintenance.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhvh-4.1-0.20170914.0+1
cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.10.8-2.2.ovirt41.el7ev.noarch
ovirt-hosted-engine-setup-2.1.3.8-1.el7ev.noarch
rhvm-appliance-4.1.20170914.0-1.el7.4.1.rpm

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the RHVH4.1
2. Deploy the HostedEngine with one host
3. Login to Cockpit, and click the button "put this host into local maintenance"

Actual results:
After step 3, there is no hint provided by Cockpit about "HostedEngine with one host don't permit to put itself into local maintenance"

Expected results:
After step 3, suggest to give a hint provided by Cockpit about "HostedEngine with one host don't permit to put itself into local maintenance"

Can the BZ move to MODIFIED?

Comment 2 Yihui Zhao 2017-10-27 03:30:01 UTC
Test version:
cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.11.1-0.2.el7ev.noarch

Test steps:
1. Install the cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.11.1-0.2.el7ev.noarch package
2. Deploy the Hostedengine

Result:
After step2, Deploy HostedEngine successfully.
And cockpit show that the hint "Local maintenance cannot be enabled with a single host", and the button of "put this host into local maintenance" is unavailable.

So, the RFE is implemented. Change the RFE' status to VERIFIED.
