Description Sandro Mani 2017-09-24 18:00:17 UTC
Description of problem:
It looks like the urw-base35-fonts-20170801-1 changes the default sans/serif/mono font aliases:

$ fc-match sans
URWGothic-Book.t1: "URW Gothic" "Book"
$ fc-match serif
URWBookman-Light.t1: "URW Bookman" "Light"
$ fc-match mono
NimbusMonoPS-Regular.t1: "Nimbus Mono PS" "Regular"

and this even in stable releases. Was this really intentional? In my opinion this the defaults should not be changed without prior discussion, and especially never in stable releases.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
urw-base35-fonts-20170801-1

Hello, thanks for the bug report!

I have fix ready, but I'm currently testing it myself. Please, hold on there for a little longer. Thank you!

P.S: This wasn't intentional, and it shouldn't make it into stable now - it was unpushed from testing repository in bodhi. In rawhide this should be fixed soon as I have new package builds.
