Description of problem: The rhr2 cert network tests perform an nfs mount on the /root/mnt on the remote client during testing. In the case of bug 146510, failures are experienced after the nfs test (e.g. connection reset during ab test or prior to the ssh from the SUT which unmounts the nfs mount). The rhr2 network test scripts ifdown the interface under test, with the outstanding mount still in place on the remote client. When an attempt is made to force the unmount on the test client, it sometimes panics (see attached oops). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): This is vanilla rhel4 fcs with latest cert tests installed. How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run rhr2 network test 2. One of the intermediate network tests fail (e.g. ab) 3. Rerun the rhr2 network test (hangs trying to perform the mount) 4. Attempt to manually unmount the /root/mnt directory on the remote client: umount -f /root/mnt umount /root/mnt Actual results: Panic'd. Expected results: Should unmount. Additional info:
