Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1498933
Auto bootstrap is clearing apb-push sourced specs
Last modified: 2018-04-05 05:30:13 EDT
Description of problem: APB developer with no existing APB's in their Dockerhub org wrote up a test APB, ran apb push, and the broker loaded it into it's /spec correctly. After waiting 5min, service still did not show up. Auto-bootstrap kicked in and cleared all specs from /spec, so it destroyed the one sourced from apb-push. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.7.0 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Push an APB to the broker using `apb push` 2. wait the allotted time for the broker refresh interval (10 mins) 3. type `apb list` Actual results: Expect to see the pushed APB and all bootstrapped APBs Expected results: Only see the list of bootstrapped APBs

Hi Dylan, I tried, not fixed. change refresh_interval: "60s" apb init xxx apb build apb push (pip) [root@preserve-wmengasb11-master-etcd-1 apbtest123]# apb list | wc -l 19 (wait a while) (pip) [root@preserve-wmengasb11-master-etcd-1 apbtest123]# apb list | wc -l 18 sh-4.2$ asbd --version 1.0.7 brew-pulp-docker01.web.prod.ext.phx2.redhat.com:8888/openshift3/ose-ansible-service-broker v3.7 5f6670f7164a About an hour ago 622.2 MB [root@preserve-wmengasb11-node-registry-router-1 ~]# curl brew-pulp-docker01.web.prod.ext.phx2.redhat.com:8888/v1/repositories/openshift3/ose-ansible-service-broker/tags | python -mjson.tool | grep d8ac97619f6c9 % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed 100 30894 100 30894 0 0 169k 0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 169k "latest": "d8ac97619f6c9a799c8677690e17690929908508f818b80e0364316aac0a2c5a", "rhaos-3.7-rhel-7-docker-candidate-42592-20171011071143": "d8ac97619f6c9a799c8677690e17690929908508f818b80e0364316aac0a2c5a", "v3.7": "d8ac97619f6c9a799c8677690e17690929908508f818b80e0364316aac0a2c5a", "v3.7.0": "d8ac97619f6c9a799c8677690e17690929908508f818b80e0364316aac0a2c5a", "v3.7.0-0.148.0.0": "d8ac97619f6c9a799c8677690e17690929908508f818b80e0364316aac0a2c5a",
Hey Weihua, Sorry about that, it appears this did not make it into asb version 1.0.7. I will put this back on modified until we release a new version of the broker. 1.07 was built a day before my PR got merged.
Fixed. sh-4.2$ asbd --version 1.0.10 ansible-service-broker-1.0.10-1.el7.x86_64
