Description of problem: ====================== There might be other discrepancies other than the one mentioned.. I found this while I was looking for help information related to 'get-state'. On my setup with 3.8.4-46 build, I do not see gluster get-state related information in the output of 'man gluster'. However on a source installed setup ( developer's setup), the related information is shown in the output. Steps followed in the setup creation were: Have a live rhgs 3.3.0 setup -> download all 3.3.1 packages -> create a local repo -> yum update Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): =========================================================== 3.8.4-46 How reproducible: ================ Always Additional info: ================ [root@dhcp46-36 ~]# rpm -qa | grep gluster glusterfs-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 python-gluster-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.noarch gluster-nagios-addons-0.2.9-1.el7rhgs.x86_64 glusterfs-server-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 glusterfs-fuse-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 vdsm-gluster-4.17.33-1.2.el7rhgs.noarch glusterfs-geo-replication-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 gluster-nagios-common-0.2.4-1.el7rhgs.noarch glusterfs-libs-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 glusterfs-api-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 libvirt-daemon-driver-storage-gluster-3.2.0-14.el7_4.3.x86_64 glusterfs-rdma-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 glusterfs-cli-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 glusterfs-client-xlators-3.8.4-46.el7rhgs.x86_64 [root@dhcp46-36 ~]# [root@dhcp46-36 ~]# [root@dhcp46-36 ~]# man gluster | grep get-state [root@dhcp46-36 ~]#
Verified in RHGS 3.3.0. Same issue seen. Verified in RHGS 3.2.0. Man page shows get-state. Looks to have regressed in RHGS 3.3.0.
Build version : 3.8.4-49 Get-state info is included under "man gluster". Hence, moving this to verified.
