Comment 3 Martin Kudlej 2017-11-23 13:04:26 UTC
Issues:
A) 7.1.2. Monitoring and Viewing Cluster Performance -> Capacity Utilization and Capacity Available

The Capacity Utilization panel aggregates disk space used by bricks for the selected cluster, based on brick utilization collected using os.statvfs on the brick path.

Data showed at this chart is not based on brick utilization but on volume utilization, same like Capacity Available chart.

B) Why this section with screenshot of closed menus is not also at the beginning of 7.1.3?

7.1.4. Monitoring and Viewing Cluster Status

To view the status of the overall cluster:

    In the Cluster level dashboard, at the bottom, click Status to expand the menu.

C) in "7.2.2.2. Capacity and Disk Load" missing Brick Utilization, Brick Capacity and Brick Capacity Used

D) "7.3. Volume Level Dashboard" ->

Look at performance metrics by brick (within a volume) to address diagnosing of RAID 6 disk failure/rebuild/degradation poor performance on one brick.

Please remove "of RAID 6"

E) "7.3. Volume Level Dashboard" ->

Rebalance

The Rebalance panel displays rebalance progress information for a given volume, which is applicable when rebalancing is underway.Rebalance Status: The Rebalance Status panel displays the status of rebalancing for a given volume, which is applicable when rebalancing is underway.

I think this section should be rewritten somehow or split into 2 to align with other sections because it describes now 2 charts. Also there is just one screenshot of one chart.

F) "7.3.2. Monitoring and Viewing Performance" ->
Screenshots of "LVM Thin Pool*" charts should be replaced with screenshots without "N/A" state.
