Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
Cause: autofs does not accept the "." character in autofs master map entries. Consequence: More recent NFS version 4 mounts that need a subversion can't be used by setting the NFS version in the master map so that all map entries use it. Fix: The master map parser has been updated to accept the "." character and the NFS mount module updated to correctly detect when these versions are used so the availability check can be done properly. Result: An NFS version that has a subversion can now be used with autofs.
