Description of problem: A lot of Ceph-metrics dashboard json files uses 'cephmetrics.gauge.ceph' for some measures etc. In most cases it doesn't matter it's not used anyway. A following monitor in some shape is present there: collectd.obj-mon-1.storage.lab.cephmetrics.gauge.ceph.mon There's one exception which causes an issue in the dashboard. In osd-node-detail.json file there's: "query": "collectd.$osd_servers.$domain.cephmetrics.gauge.ceph.osd.*", Because of this no disks are displayed on 'OSD Node Detail' dashboard when non default cluster name is used. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cephmetrics-1.0-6.el7cp.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Ceph-metrics for Ceph cluster with some name different than ceph 2. Look on 'OSD Node Detail' dashboard 3. Check Ceph-metrics dashboard files Actual results: There's no disks available on 'OSD Node Detail' dashboard and so some charts shows no data. There's a lot of lines where a 'cephmetrics.gauge.ceph' is used in json files. Expected results: There should not be any occurrence of cephmetrics.gauge.ceph in those json files, instead there should be cephmetrics.gauge.$cluster_name or the line should be removed completely. 'OSD Node Detail' dashboard should show proper data. Additional info:
If there is a fix quickly, we will take it.
I'll take care of this one

PR is merged
Tested with: cephmetrics-1.0-7.el7cp.x86_64 osd-node-detail.json was fixed. collectd.obj-mon-1.storage.lab.cephmetrics.gauge.ceph.mon remains
