Description Orion Poplawski 2017-10-26 17:50:40 UTC
Description of problem:

absible-pull with inventories coming from the pulled repository is broken, see https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/31449

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ansible-2.4.0.0-5.el7.noarch

Comment 2 Orion Poplawski 2017-11-01 16:42:24 UTC
Broken in a number of other ways it seems as it appears to fail to do a git pull to update a checked out repo.

Comment 3 Pavel Cahyna 2017-11-03 16:21:01 UTC
Will be solved by a rebase to 2.4.2.0.

Comment 4 Joerg K 2017-12-12 10:55:00 UTC
Do you have an idea when the rebase to 2.4.2.0 could take place and the new version would be available?

Thanks for the notice.

Comment 8 Leos Pol 2018-01-15 12:35:20 UTC
ansible-2.4.2.0-1.el7.noarch

1. create local git repo
2. add ansible.cfg, inventory, simple playbook
3. commit repo
4. ansible-pull -U <repo> <playbook>

ansible-pull pulls the repo and executes playbook
