Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 150687
CAN-2005-0667 sylpheed buffer overflow
Last modified: 2007-11-30 17:06:54 EST
Buffer overflow in Sylpheed before 1.0.3 and other versions before 1.9.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an e-mail message with certain headers containing non-ASCII characters that are not properly handled when the user replies to the message. The upstream patch is here: http://sylpheed.good-day.net/sylpheed/v1.0/sylpheed-1.0.2-1.0.3.patch.gz
should be fixed in 0.5.0-3.EL21
