Description Alexander L. Belikoff 1999-03-14 10:02:48 UTC
/bin/(u)mount have to be SUID-root in order to allow users
mounting filesystems with 'user' option. And they always
used to be... until RedHat 5.8.x :-)

Comment 1 Jeff Johnson 1999-03-14 21:47:59 UTC
Rpm (~mid-January) appears to have been setuid bit hungry :-(
Meanwhile, another trip through the build system has restored
the setuid bits to /bin/*mount.
