The order numbers are assigned from the system. I'll send this over to the automate team for them to confirm, but all seems to be working as expected.

Are you also ordering through the OpsUI or is all ordering happening from the ServiceUI?

Every service ordered will create a service_order instance, from the OpsUI they are immediately ordered, from the ServiceUI they are placed into a cart first (which is a service_order instance).

Order page

I have ordered few services from OPS UI too .
But order number is not there in OPS UI right ?
OPS UI has request ID which is different.

In SUI there is an Order page which shows Order number for each request (attached screenshot). These order numbers are different than request ID

Comment 5 Greg McCullough 2017-11-01 13:19:14 UTC
Correct, but even though you do not see it each service ordered from the OpsUI will create a Service Order in the db. I'm not sure there is an issue here.
