Change: Source0: https://fedorahosted.org/released/nuxwdog/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz to: Source0: https://www.dogtagpki.org/pki/sources/nuxwdog/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz Per RHEL 7.5.z/7.6/8.0 Triage: 7.6 alee: trivial fix Moved to RHEL 7.7 due to lack of development resource time. Fixed in commit: https://github.com/dogtagpki/nuxwdog/commit/2244fd4858b46d211bc131cec002db9d7a8674d0#diff-35d547ea2b34bf7f0d77b4df7dd41644 Steps to test: The new URL[1] (after updating values accordingly) should fetch tar ball from upstream [1] https://github.com/dogtagpki/%{name}/archive/v%{version}/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz Missed the window for RHEL 7.7.0; moving this "trivial" bug to RHEL 7.8.0. There is no need to test this BZ. However, if required following commands can be executed to ensure that buildsystem is able to pull the right source: 1. dnf install spectool cpio 2. wget http://download.eng.bos.redhat.com/brewroot/vol/rhel-7/packages/nuxwdog/1.0.5/1.el7/src/nuxwdog-1.0.5-1.el7.src.rpm 3. rpm2cpio nuxwdog-1.0.5-1.el7.src.rpm | cpio -idmv 4. rm nuxwdog-1.0.5.tar.gz 5. spectool -g -R nuxwdog.spec This should download the right source archive to `/home/<user>/rpmbuild/SOURCES/nuxwdog-1.0.5.tar.gz` (In reply to Dinesh Prasanth from comment #8) > There is no need to test this BZ. I got slightly confused with procedure. @geetika, Proposed idea: Download srpm (which carries .tar.gz file), extract it, remove the source (.tar.gz) file, redownload the source file Alternate idea: run the `spectool -g -R nuxwdog.spec` directly on the spec file. the testing procedure is included to ensure that it can pull the source from the URL specified in the spec file.
