Description of problem: The system was left "logged in" for one user. Twelve hours later, even after entering the password for Gnome, we could not leave the gui login screen. Gnome did not respond. Similar problem has been detected: Remote ssh session running an X11 client under gdb that stopped after passively grabbing the keyboard. Switched to ALT-V1, logged in to the remote server, and kill -9ed the client process. Similar problem has been detected: An X11 client was started in gdb in a tunneled ssh connection, in xfce-terminal. A breakpoint was set while a passive grab is in effect. With the X11 client stopped in a debugger, switched to ALT-VT, logged in to the remote server in a section ssh connection, and kill -9-ed the X11 client. This message is a reminder that Fedora 27 is nearing its end of life. On 2018-Nov-30 Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 27.
