Description of problem:
Repeat = Watch directive can`t be use in Unison profiles because of missing fsmonitor component. So only option is Repeat= "time interval".
There is separate folder "fsmonitor" in unison sources  (http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison//download/releases/stable/).

Somewhat related, the 2.48.4 stable release of Unison was released in 2016.  IMHO a 2.48.4 package that includes fsmonitor would be even better.
