Description of problem:
Since the upgrade to Fedora 27, enabling a FortiVPN connection via NetworkManager fails.
The logfiles say:

Nov 20 10:03:17 laptop-fedora.local pppd[3390]: /usr/lib64/pppd/2.4.7/nm-fortisslvpn-pppd-plugin.so: undefined symbol: _nm_utils_ascii_str_to_int64
Nov 20 10:03:17 laptop-fedora.local pppd[3390]: Couldn't load plugin /usr/lib64/pppd/2.4.7/nm-fortisslvpn-pppd-plugin.so
