Description of problem: I installed ceph-ansible on my undercloud, and ran the validaotr. The validator resulted with a warning, which only had the word "warning" in it and no additional information. To the GUI user, it is not clear whether ceph-ansible is installed or not. When I ran the validator from the command line, I was able to see the warning: [WARNING]: Consider using yum module rather than running yum Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): openstack-tripleo-ui-7.4.3-4.el7ost.noarch openstack-tripleo-validations-7.4.2-1.el7ost.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install ceph-ansible. 2. Run the validator from the GUI 3. Run the validator from the command line: ANSIBLE_RETRY_FILES_ENABLED=false ansible-playbook -i /usr/bin/tripleo-ansible-inventory /usr/share/openstack-tripleo-validations/validations/ceph-ansible-installed.yaml Actual results: Validator generates a warning. The GUI doesn't display the warning and only from the CLI you see what kind of an error it is. Expected results: No Warnings. If there are warnings - the GUI should show them also.

A fix for that issue has been merged in stable/master and stable/pike
