Extension is installed (from Fedora 26) but not shown as installed

Description of problem: After upgrading to Fedora 27 all GNOME extensions installed in Fedora 26 or so, do not show up in GNOME Software anymore. In the gnome-tweak-tool they are shown, however and I can disable/enable them.

I even cannot uninstall them. As a workaround, I can uninstall them if I first install them in GNOME Software and then uninstall them.
However, that also seems to be forgotten at the next reboot or so. (not sure on this though)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): GNOME 3.26

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install old extensions in Fedora 26 via the GNOME Software tool from extensions.gnome.org (installing from FedoraProject does not work anyway)
2. Upgrade to Fedora 27

Actual results: see screenshot

Expected results: All installed GNOME extensions should be recognized as installed in GNOME Software.

I have this similar problem with Fedora 28. And I will open a ticket for same

With gnome 3.26 (Fedora 27) I am able to, respecting ownership and permissions:

1) move all gnome extensions to
/usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/EXTENSION_FILES

2) copy the org*.xml files from each ESTENSION_FILE/schema
to
   /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas

3) Compile glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas

and those extensions would be globally available to each logon

This part is not working. Was it rescinded or is it a gnome 3.28 bug?
