Nginx's header handling is pretty simplistic. The headers_more module (https://github.com/openresty/headers-more-nginx-module) adds a bunch of useful functionality.

I have a fork of the fedora package that contains a working spec file to package this module in the style of the other NGINX provided modules. Unfortunately, I don't think it can be built separately.
