Description Grant Gainey 2017-12-01 21:03:55 UTC
Description of problem:

BZ#1466006 fixed an issue preventing subscribing a RHEL7 system to a RHEL7-EUS channel at this page:

rhn/systems/details/SystemChannels.do?sid=...

Unfortunately, in the process of fixing that problem, it inadvertently broke the eus-restriction-logic for *RHEL6* systems, making it possible to assig any RHEL6-eus base channel to any RHEL6 system.

How reproducible:

* Sync RHEL6 and all RHEL6-AUS/EUS channels to a Sat5 instance
* Subscripe a RHEL6.7 system
* Go to 'Alter channel subscriptions'
* Subscribe the system to the most-recent EUS channel
* Go back to 'Alter channel subscriptions'

EXPECTED:

* Allowed to subscribe to 6.7, 6.9, and Base

ACTUAL:

* Allowed to subscribe to *any* RHEL6-EUS
