Description of problem:
The .so symlinks are only used for linking, and should be in the -devel
package for a given library, not in the main package.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
boost-1.32.0-5.fc3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -ql boost

Actual Results: .so linking symlinks exist in main boost package

Expected Results: .so linking symlinks should be in boost-devel package

Fixed in boost-1.32.0-6.fc3

Comment 2 Matthew Miller 2006-07-10 20:35:54 UTC
Fedora Core 3 is now maintained by the Fedora Legacy project for security
updates only. If this problem is a security issue, please reopen and
reassign to the Fedora Legacy product. If it is not a security issue and
hasn't been resolved in the current FC5 updates or in the FC6 test
release, reopen and change the version to match.

Thank you!
