Description of problem: Bug 1489262 describes an issue where the minorvers option is not honored when mounting an NFS directory. This means that when oVirt tries to mount an NFS v4.2 dir (e.g., when activating a storage domain), it's degraded to NFS v4.1, thus breaking not only oVirt's API/GUI (the admin thinks that he's mounting 4.2 and gets an unexpected behavior), but also first citizen features (such as sparsifying, which requires 4.2). Once the fix for that bug is released, VDSM should require it in order to ensure oVirt's features work over NFS. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Applicable to any vdsm version running on EL 7.4 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an NFS 4.2 storage domain Actual results: Domain gets mounted in NFS 4.1 Expected results: Domain gets mounted in NFS 4.2 Additional info:
Depends on RHEL 7.5, pushing out.
