Leo, what is going on here? Is this yet another instance of the not backported patch?

There isn't enough to say what's going on. Kinda looks like stuff I've fixed already, but can't say conclusively. 

@Mikolaj, please kindly test with latest nightly. If issue still occurs please post steps to reproduce:

Thanks. I've backported things to 4.7.2, so should not occur in next release.

You should verify that the latest build in Fedora has the patches in question. Reopening so you do that, coordinate with Mat. Please do not close bug until this happens.

If the crash happens with our rpm but not with upstream this is the corect place to handle them.

Looks like these patches were applied in rawhide, as it's not reproducible with:
eclipse-swt-4.7.2-0.2.fc28.x86_64
webkitgtk4-2.19.2-3.fc28.x86_64

Ah sorry, I should've tried with updates-testing. I confirm that latest update fixes the crash.
