Leo, what is going on here? Is this yet another instance of the not backported patch?
There isn't enough to say what's going on. Kinda looks like stuff I've fixed already, but can't say conclusively. @Mikolaj, please kindly test with latest nightly. If issue still occurs please post steps to reproduce: http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/
Not reproducible with eclipse-SDK-I20171206-2000-linux-gtk-x86_64
(In reply to Mikolaj Izdebski from comment #4) > Not reproducible with eclipse-SDK-I20171206-2000-linux-gtk-x86_64 Thanks. I've backported things to 4.7.2, so should not occur in next release. Thanks again for bug report. Feel free to file webkit related crashes upstream, I generally find them much faster than in the redhat bugzilla. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?alias=&assigned_to=platform-swt-inbox%40eclipse.org&attach_text=&blocked=&bug_file_loc=http%3A%2F%2F&bug_severity=normal&bug_status=NEW&comment=&component=SWT&contenttypeentry=&contenttypemethod=autodetect&contenttypeselection=text%2Fplain&data=&deadline=&defined_groups=1&dependson=&description=&estimated_time=&flag_type-1=X&flag_type-11=X&flag_type-12=X&flag_type-13=X&flag_type-14=X&flag_type-15=X&flag_type-16=X&flag_type-17=X&flag_type-2=X&flag_type-4=X&flag_type-6=X&flag_type-7=X&flag_type-8=X&form_name=enter_bug&keywords=&maketemplate=Remember%20values%20as%20bookmarkable%20template&op_sys=Linux&product=Platform&qa_contact=&rep_platform=PC&requestee_type-1=&requestee_type-2=&short_desc=&version=4.8

I've backported things to 4.7.2, so should not occur in next release. You should verify that the latest build in Fedora has the patches in question. Reopening so you do that, coordinate with Mat. Please do not close bug until this happens. > > Thanks again for bug report. > > Feel free to file webkit related crashes upstream, I generally find them > much faster than in the redhat bugzilla. If the crash happens with our rpm but not with upstream this is the corect place to handle them. > https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?alias=&assigned_to=platform-swt- > inbox%40eclipse. > org&attach_text=&blocked=&bug_file_loc=http%3A%2F%2F&bug_severity=normal&bug_ > status=NEW&comment=&component=SWT&contenttypeentry=&contenttypemethod=autodet > ect&contenttypeselection=text%2Fplain&data=&deadline=&defined_groups=1&depend > son=&description=&estimated_time=&flag_type-1=X&flag_type-11=X&flag_type- > 12=X&flag_type-13=X&flag_type-14=X&flag_type-15=X&flag_type-16=X&flag_type- > 17=X&flag_type-2=X&flag_type-4=X&flag_type-6=X&flag_type-7=X&flag_type- > 8=X&form_name=enter_bug&keywords=&maketemplate=Remember%20values%20as%20bookm > arkable%20template&op_sys=Linux&product=Platform&qa_contact=&rep_platform=PC& > requestee_type-1=&requestee_type-2=&short_desc=&version=4.8
Looks like these patches were applied in rawhide, as it's not reproducible with: eclipse-swt-4.7.2-0.2.fc28.x86_64 webkitgtk4-2.19.2-3.fc28.x86_64

So should it be closed? If yes please do.
I added this bug to the update currently in updates-testing: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-b10415f6b6 Bodhi should close the bug automatically when it gets to stable.
Ah sorry, I should've tried with updates-testing. I confirm that latest update fixes the crash.
