Moving to ON_QA for verification. Tested with FF54.0 and I was able to access VM's console after importing katello-ca-cert. Will test with updated FF version and chrome browser as well. Created attachment 1376686 [details]
vnc console using ff54
Verified with FF57.0.1 as well. I don't see any issue. Please see the attachment. Created attachment 1376779 [details]
console is being opened with ff57
With chrome browser(Version 63.0.3239.108), I'm unable to open vnc console for same host:
here are the logs in production.log:

Any suggestion for QE to check to ensure its not a bug ? I imported the katello-ca-cert and still unable to open the console in chrome. However, works with FF as mentioned above. Are you using Chrome with clean profile? Is this on Linux? Are you able to test with clean Chrome on Windows? If you can't get it working, then turn this into "Chrome does not work" bug, remove Triaged flag and we need to ask 6.3 flag. Good 0day bug candidate. The Satellite Team is attempting to provide an accurate backlog of bugzilla requests which we feel will be resolved in the next few releases. We do not believe this bugzilla will meet that criteria, and have plans to close it out in 1 month. This is not a reflection on the validity of the request, but a reflection of the many priorities for the product. If you have any concerns about this, feel free to contact Red Hat Technical Support or your account team. If we do not hear from you, we will close this bug out. Thank you. Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and while we recognize that it is a valid request, we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. This is due to other priorities for the product, and not a reflection on the request itself. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please do not reopen. Instead, feel free to contact Red Hat Technical Support. Thank you. |
