Description of problem:
When getxattr command with key "glusterfs.ancestry.path" is issued, the brick process in many cases crashes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
master, release-3.8

How reproducible:
3/10 cases.


Expected results:
- Brick process shouldn't crash.

Additional info:
- 3.8-fb branch already has the fix.
