Description Avital Pinnick 2017-12-17 09:02:07 UTC
Memory backing with huge pages is a new feature of RHV 4.2.

There is some information in the "Configuring High Performance Virtual Machines, etc." section, but it needs to be documented more fully on its own.

"hugepages" appears in the custom properties tab in the Edit and New Virtual Machines windows. Size is entered in KB. Red Hat recommends that the size be at least 1 GB.

Should document feature's constraints, like size of VM hugepage relative to host. Related to NUMA pinning (NUMA node size should be a multiple of hugepage size).
