Description Andrew Schorr 2017-12-17 22:36:51 UTC
Spec URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gawkextlib/files/rpm-specs/gawk-select.spec
SRPM URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gawkextlib/files/srpms/gawk-select-1.1.0-1.fc27.src.rpm
Description: The gawk-select module provides a gawk extension library supporting I/O multiplexing and signal trapping.
Fedora Account System Username: ajschorr

Comment 1 Andrew Schorr 2017-12-17 22:42:34 UTC
This is another gawkextlib gawk extension providing select I/O multiplexing and signal trapping. It is packaged similarly to gawk-xml, gawk-pgsql, gawk-lmdb, gawk-json, and gawk-errno.

It passes rpmlint, licensecheck, and fedora-review. There is a koji build here:
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=23766058

Oops: the koji build failed on i686 and ppc64le. I will investigate...

Thanks,
Andy

Comment 2 Andrew Schorr 2017-12-17 22:55:49 UTC
It looks like there is a race condition in the outputfd test case, since this koji build succeeded:
    https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=23766262
I will need to patch the upstream test case...

Comment 3 Andrew Schorr 2017-12-18 14:59:55 UTC
There seems to have been a risk of a SIGPIPE in the outputfd test when running on an EXTREMELY slow machine, as I guess could be the case for the koji build systems. It should be fixed now in version 1.1.1.

The spec URL is unchanged, the new SRPM URL is:
   https://sourceforge.net/projects/gawkextlib/files/srpms/gawk-select-1.1.1-1.fc27.src.rpm

And there is a successful koji build here:
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=23780259

Thanks,
Andy
