[patch] Update to 1.4 (#1530009)

Comment 2 Upstream Release Monitoring 2018-01-01 00:23:18 UTC
hotness's scratch build of geeqie-1.4-1.el7.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=23959375

Comment 3 Matthew Miller 2018-01-01 18:03:39 UTC
This fails to build because first, patch9 (for exiv2 issue) is now included. Which is good. But now, also:

--------

color-man.c: In function 'color_man_get_profile_name':
color-man.c:443:21: error: variable 'r' set but not used [-Werror=unused-but-set-variable]
     cmsUInt32Number r;
                     ^
  CC       dupe.o
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
make[3]: *** [Makefile:970: color-man.o] Error 1
make[3]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
dupe.c: In function 'dupe_menu_popup_main':
dupe.c:2337:13: error: variable 'submenu' set but not used [-Werror=unused-but-set-variable]
  GtkWidget *submenu;
             ^~~~~~~
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors

--------

... both of which don't happen with the 1.3 code. New upstream bugs? Looking into it now.

Comment 4 Matthew Miller 2018-01-01 18:08:31 UTC
Hmmm, that first thing is there since forever. *Drinks coffee*

Comment 5 Matthew Miller 2018-01-01 18:16:33 UTC
For the second thing, it does look like we're missing actually _using_ the constructed submenu.

Comment 6 Matthew Miller 2018-01-01 18:34:38 UTC
Ah, I see -- Werror wasn't in the default upstream CFLAGS before and it is now.

I'm disabling this particular warning for now and building into rawhide.

One or more of the new sources for this package are identical to the old sources. It's likely this package does not use the version macro in its Source URLs. If possible, please update the specfile to include the version macro in the Source URLs
