Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Jan Hutař 2018-01-05 12:46:15 UTC
Created attachment 1377474 [details]
120% success in ReX job

Description of problem:
When I delete hosts where remote job was running, that finished remote job will start showing >100% result

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
satellite-6.3.0-23.0.el7sat.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run ReX job on 10 systems so it passes on all of them
2. Job detail page now shows "100% success" in the graph
   https://<fqdn>/job_invocations/<id>
3. Delete few of these hosts and recheck the ReX job status

Actual results:
120% success

Expected results:
Percentage should be max 100%

Comment 1 Jan Hutař 2018-01-05 12:54:51 UTC
And when you delete all the systems involved in given job, job details page says "Infinity% Success".

Comment 3 Adam Ruzicka 2018-01-09 12:00:35 UTC
Created redmine issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/22187 from this bug

Comment 5 Satellite Program 2018-01-31 23:25:12 UTC
Upstream bug assigned to ddolguik

Comment 11 Adam Ruzicka 2020-09-21 06:54:54 UTC
This is now completely fixed in upstream, moving to POST

Comment 12 Peter Ondrejka 2020-11-20 10:17:12 UTC
Infinity success achieved! Well, the result percentage is now calculated correctly, and the missing hosts are now noted in job details, re-running such a job resolves just to existing hosts as expected. Verified on Sat 6.9 snap 2
